Reading rejection at a retracement without inventing a story
When a wick tags 61.8 and closes back inside the prior range, the observable facts are the tag and the close. Everything else is literature. Literature can wait until after the journal entry.
In critique sessions we ask for a two-line note: (1) what printed in the band, (2) whether that matches the event you wrote before the bar existed. If you had not pre-written an event, the wick cannot be graded. It can only be admired.
This is why the twenty-minute drill spends half its time on “what would count.” Without that sentence, rejection is always obvious in hindsight.
Route Field stays with this dry language on purpose. The room is for measuring and noticing. Forecast theatre belongs elsewhere.
